Experience

My tutoring experience includes students of various skill levels and many different ages. I enjoy teaching many different subjects, but my favorites are math and chemistry, closely followed by physics.I am originally from California, and attended college in Florida, earning my bachelor's degree in Mathematical Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from Barry University. I am currently working toward my master's degree in cellular and molecular medicine at the University of Arizona. After getting my degree, I worked as a volunteer for two months at a school with students in kindergarten through 12th grade in La Argelia Alta in Quito, Ecuador. I taught science, English, and math to children and adults while also working in the church and helping the local soccer team. I know that my success depends heavily on finding the teaching method that corresponds to how my students learn, so I take the time to get to know my students' preferred learning styles.In addition to many different levels of math, chemistry, and physics, the subjects I can tutor include many AP-level courses, preparation for the SAT, ACT, MCAT, and GRE, and many AP level courses.In my spare time, I enjoy baseball, wakeboarding, snowboarding, hiking, running, reading, and music.
