I've tutored kids age 5-12 in reading, writing, and English Skills. English as a Second Language, I am currently a Tutor with 826 L.A. a non-profit organization that helps kids from inner city high schools compose college application essays, financial need essays, Gates Millennium Scholarship applications, I love it. They love me and I am Volunteer of the Month this November. I'm an excellent communicator, kind and patient. I have taken 3 semesters of college Latin and understand the English language from the roots up. I was a professional journalist for 8 years, possess high proficiency with both AP and Chicago Styles. I love working with everyone, but my affinity is for high school and college age.
