Experience
I earned my bachelor's degree in sociology and continued with my graduate degree at Northern Arizona University. It was there that I attained my Master of Arts degree in educational psychology. I've applied my education to teaching college-level courses that include developmental psychology, sociology, human sexuality, and the introduction to psychology. I've also cultivated experience through my roles as a counselor - both at the college and elementary school levels. Additionally, I dedicated a couple of years to working with developmentally disabled individuals.The field of psychology is the one area that I truly enjoy. I'm passionate about learning it, teaching it, seeing how it has evolved, and researching progress in this field. Professionally, my experiences with psychology have also fueled my abilities to give my pupils a genuine perspective in helping them understand sociological and psychological ideals. My goal as a teacher is to create a learning environment that offers both fun and unique ways to absorb the material. It's also my goal to inspire students to explore their own passions and find success in their fields.Outside of the classroom, I enjoy music, guitar, drums, football, and the ocean.
