Education

I graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Physical Science Education. I was initially licensed in Utah and worked for several years as the science teacher for a private boarding school near Logan, Utah. I spent the past two years in Tucson, Arizona and have an Arizona teaching license for math and science. I am now back in Utah with my family, and am looking forward to working here long term.

Experience

I am a certified math and science teacher and have worked teaching science and math for several years at the high school and middle school levels. I also have extensive experience working as a tutor both privately and in both tutoring labs. Though the majority of my experience and training is in math and science, I have also tutored a wide range of high school and middle school subjects outside of my specialties and feel confident assisting students in most subject areas.

I am definitely a hobbyist and enjoy participating in a wide range of activities. I love the outdoors, but enjoy art and literature as well. My latest hobbies include geocaching and crafting.
