Experience
I have over 4 years of experience composing essays, and I am currently an English major at the University of Arizona. I am concentrating in British Literature and Shakespeare and my minor is in Africana studies. I believe that my experiences have given me valuable skills to help students who may be a little out of practice when it comes to writing persuasive papers. I grew up writing magical fantasy stories and creating my own pieces. My love of creating later introduced me to the fascinating world of theatre. During high school, I was involved in plays and I became intrigued by William Shakespeare. It was then that I fell in love with his work and literature in general. It was after this that I decided that I needed to pursue English as my career. Currently, I have a flexible schedule and I am willing to tutor a variety of classes and ACT prep, not just English courses. My skills in college essay composition easily transfer to all general education classes, and I can help my students succeed in those courses. I enjoy helping my students construct arguments, and I will be dedicated to helping all of my students improve their grades.
