Experience
I haven't always been a tutor, but I am looking forward to helping students as much as possible. Prior to this, I worked in the U.S. Foreign Service, where I was a part of many foreign exchange programs. Being a part of programs that involved students attending schools in the U.S. and abroad motivated me to go get my Master's Degree in Higher Education and it opened up many doors for me. I have now become a master tutor at the university level, been a college prep program administrator, and also taught at a community college. Now I am looking to tutor pupils in subjects such as German, English, history, and government. I focus on my student's success one hundred percent. To help my students succeed, I know that it is necessary to develop a strong relationship with them and listen to their needs. I create lesson plans that address the individual needs of each person. My ultimate goal is to have my students understand the material and gain enthusiasm for it. I am looking forward to sharing my enthusiasm and knowledge with many new people. When I am not teaching, you can find me hiking, swimming, and studying international exchanges.
