8 years experience tutoring middle school and high school math. 17 years spent teaching classes in computer software packages, and beginning programming. I love teaching, both one on one and in a classroom environment. I believe one on one tutoring is perfect for math, and I live for those "aha" moments when things start to click for my students. I believe math CAN be easy. I think it is a matter of having clear explanations that are broken down into small enough chunks that are delivered at the right pace. Combining good explanations with the chance to practice each piece until it is mastered can take the anxiety out of math. Patience, clarity, and practice can work miracles!! Math can transform from a subject that one dreads to a skill that one delights in.
