I have BS in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, an MBA in Financial Management from Pace University, have nearly 30 years working as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager. I am a Registered Professional Engineer in The State of Florida. I have professional, personal references that I can provide. I work fulltime and am looking to tutor on the side as I enjoy teaching and problem solving.
Experience
I enjoy working one on one with students and helping them achieve their goals a dreams. I enjoy the challenge of working with the most difficult classes while instilling an enjoyment of math and science. I have been tutoring evenings and weekends for about 2 years in all levels of math from high school through college, High School and college physics, and Micro/Macro-Economics at the high school and college level. I have taken all levels of math in graduate and undergraduate and Engineering/college level physics and chemistry. Relevant courses include: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, All levels of Calculus, Differential equations, Probability and Statistics, Macro and Micro Economics, Engineer Foundation courses, Civil Engineering courses, Finance, test preparation and study skills, SAT, ACT, AP math and Science, Microsoft office Programs (Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Access) and career planning. I have a fulltime job but am available evenings and weekends and have made tutoring a favorite hobby of mine!
