Experience
I am an elementary education teacher certified for first grade through eighth grade. I attended the University of Arizona to earn my bachelor's degree in Classics. I have three years of experience as a substitute teacher, which made me realize how much I enjoy teaching. I then earned my masters degree in elementary education at NAU. As a student teacher, I was able to help title I students learn reading and math. I then earned a reading endorsement. I feel that all students are capable of learning successfully. Every student is unique in their learning style, so it's my job to adapt to that. I love helping students realize their full academic potential and reach their goals. I'm looking forward to tutoring students in math, reading, writing, English, and phonics. When I have free time, I like to listen to music, go for hikes, and read.
