Tutoring has become one of the most rewarding undertakings of my life. I am committed to the process of education, both personally and professionally. Learning is more than the memorization of facts to simply pass a test or exam. Successful learning requires special techniques and methods that the tutee can implement over the course of their lifetime to help them expand their mind and their perception of the world. A great deal of my time has been spent tutoring on the subject of math (which I love), including algebra, arithmetic, and geometry. But my other strong areas are the PSAT, GRE preparation, and preparation for the SAT.In the past, I've also had the pleasure of tutoring students with special needs, where progress meant finding unique methods. I am attending the University of Arizona, located in Austin, Texas. I am a dual-doctorate candidate, focused on the field of audiology. Audiology is the study of hearing and all things related to it, making it possible to improve someone's hearing and possibly prevent further damage related to hearing disorders. Since moving to Austin, I have become enamored with this city's natural beauty and the hiking available. I've also begun the interesting pursuit of rock climbing.
