As a tutor, what sets me apart is my willingness to be both patient and flexible with my students and their needs. I know that the key to successful learning is focusing each session and lesson on the student's learning style and abilities. I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of teaching, and I maintain the belief that all students have the skills to learn well and to boost their knowledge. I received my Bachelor of Science in Education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. I'm a West Virginia native, but I've lived in Arizona for the past 12 years. I'm well-versed in all Core Curriculum subjects, but I especially love guiding students through their science and reading courses. When I work with students, I can offer them help in a wide range of classes, including elementary school math, middle school math, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, chemistry, psychology, social sciences, English, reading, writing, and science. When I'm not serving as a tutor, you can find me running, enjoying the great outdoors with my family, baking, or teaching Sunday School to a classroom full of wonderful students at my church.
