I know how to make working with language approachable, fun, and easy - as it should be! Finding the right words for a literary assignment is important, and I am good at helping students expand their writing skills and create articulate compositions. I share my passion for language with all students that I work with. I help students with any sort of literary challenge they find themselves in; ranging from vocabulary word prep for standardized exams, to college application essays, to perfecting a written analysis of John Donne's word, to essay composition. Helping students compose an impeccable five-paragraph persuasive essay is a specialty of mine. Working with words is a natural interest and skill of mine, and it shows through in my academic, professional, and personal interests! In 2011, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Writing from the University of Arizona. I currently run a design and marketing company, where I offer attention-grabbing and eloquent language for my clients. I help them find the right words for engaging social media platforms, advertising, and websites. In my free time, I enjoy creating electronic art installations, searching for intriguing restaurants in my town, and running with my two giant dogs, as well as reading, hiking, singing, painting, and learning.
