I am currently attending the University of Arizona as a student in the pre-nursing program. I am comfortable tutoring students in a wide range of subject areas, including algebra 1, geometry, algebra 2, biology, chemistry, physical chemistry, reading, writing, psychology, pre-algebra, English, and social science. I am also available to help students write and edit collegiate level essays. I have three years of experience tutoring my relatives and peers. I am currently tutoring at my university. My philosophy as a tutor emphasizes the fact that every student learns in a unique fashion. Thus, it is my job as a tutor to adapt the way I teach to reflect the specific learning style that will be the most beneficial and effective for each individual student. By adapting my teaching style to match the students' learning styles, I am providing them with an advantage in comprehending complex concepts. My goal as a tutor is to develop a personal relationship with my students so I can identify study skills that will be the most successful for them and help track their goals in a way that will be the most effective and beneficial for each student.
