I have tutored ESL and Mandarin Chinese in Arizona and overseas. Also proficient in Japanese, the third language I had the opportunity to learn, I can also assist in ESL/ELL and AP Chinese Language and Culture studies. I didn't learn English until I was thirteen, so I know the struggles that people go through when learning and trying to make sense of a new language. While the journey wasn't easy, it was certainly one of the most rewarding I have had. I love sharing my experiences with students, my passion for learning, and my wish to help achieve their goals. My style is patient and laid back. I enjoy sharing information about my native language and culture. The environment I teach in is always relaxed and casual while I am adamant about being detail oriented and practicing time management. I want to make the most impact in the student's learning during the time we have. In addition, I have a flexible schedule, day or night, to best accommodate my clients.I attended the University of Arizona and live in Tucson. As passionate as I am about teaching people about my language and culture, I also love to play tennis.
