I am a tutor with extensive experience studying and teaching a variety of subjects. I recently graduated from the University of Arizona with honors, with degrees in both Russian and English. I am comfortable tutoring students in coursework from middle school all the way through college. I am comfortable teaching a wide array of topics, including Math, Science, Social Sciences, United States Government, English, Spanish, Writing, and Literature. My philosophy as a tutor is to motivate students to become interested in core subjects. I have experience with Common Core, and I am equipped with the necessary tools to assist students with adapting to the new standards. I have a passion for helping make education more accessible. I would like to enter a career that helps move education forward through open dialogue with both clients and educators. In my free time, I like to read and walk my dog. I am also a published author and am currently working as an editor for the University of Arizona's Persona magazine. Additionally, I am working as a freelance tutor and editor for several students in the UA Writing Program. I am committed to passing on my knowledge and guarantee that the students I tutor will make visible progress.
