I have taught elementary school for 25 years and tutored grades K-6. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Denver. I received my Master of Education degree from Lesley College. I have taught in a number of states, and spent 18 years teaching abroad. My experiences have helped me develop a passion for learning. As a result of exploring other cultures and ethnicities, I am very versatile when working with students.My tutoring style focuses on students and is hands-on. I communicate well and can coordinate my tutoring efforts with both the classroom teachers and the families of my students. Courses that I have tutored include Math, Reading, Writing, Phonics, English, along with SSAT and ISEE test prep. When not educating others, I like spending time with my family. I have four children that are still in college or have graduated. I enjoy exercising, cruising bookstores, and spending time in libraries.
