Third year student at the U of A majoring in music composition, theory (including as Preceptor), conducting and guitar performance. For the First semester of his junior year he took 18 credit hours earning a 4.0 grade. GPA is 3.5. Currently taking 19 credit hours, all in music.
Experience
Lucas has been teaching private guitar lessons since 2007. He also tutors and organizes review sessions as part of the music theory curriculum. He teaches guitar technique and musicality; instrument care and maintenance; composing and arranging; music theory, history and criticism; ear training, sight reading/singing, dictation; conducting; composing and arranging. He has been playing in bands and solo since the fifth grade. He explores many styles of music including jazz, classical, rock, metal, blues.
