Experiences 4.12 – 11.14; Pima Community College, Northwest Campus, as Writing and Reading tutor and Structured Learning Assistant (SLA). Enabled students to achieve a better understanding of grammar, mechanics, and essay development. Empowered students in the fundamentals of reading comprehension and retention. In December I became a Math Proctor but have been looking to continue my tutoring. I enjoy interacting with students (in a classroom setting as well as tutoring, but I prefer the one-on-one sessions) and seeing them learn and progress. I have taken classes in short story writing, poetry, astronomy, and geology, among many others.
