Experience
I went to the University of Arizona to earn my bachelor's degree in physiology. I also earned minors in psychology and chemistry. I'm currently in the University of Arizona nursing program seeking a master's degree. As a tutor, I experienced working with student-athletes at the university. I eventually was promoted to a certified advanced tutor by the College Reading and Learning Association. I enjoy helping students learn topics that seem difficult at first. I get satisfaction from helping students master subjects. My ultimate goal is the success of each student I work with. I can tutor students in algebra, chemistry, Spanish, geometry, pre-calculus, English composition, and others. I've had the opportunity to work with everyone from middle school to college students at all levels of ability. In my free time, I'm interested in travel and culture. I also enjoy playing soccer, and I'm self-taught in the acoustic guitar and piano. Other interests include visiting the ocean to go surfing, running, and cooking.
