Experience
I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia where I have lived most of my life. I have more than 15 years of experience teaching English and Spanish as foreign languages in Colombia and in the United States. I have taught at all levels of private and public education including elementary school, high school, language institutes, and college/university level. I like teaching young learners and adults across all levels of language proficiency from beginning to advanced.

I have been living in Tucson, AZ with my family since August, 2013. Once I finish my Ph.D. here at the UofA I will go back to my native Colombia where I will continue teaching foreign languages and doing research as a teacher educator at the college level. I come from the South of Colombia and love sharing about my culture and traditions as I teach Spanish. I am very enthusiastic about teaching, reading, spending time with my two kids (7, 9), and helping others.
