Learning calculus got me to enjoy math, so it is my favorite subject that I tutor. I have tutored college mathematics and general chemistry courses for three years. My basic style emphasizes a fundamental understanding of the subject along with critical thinking. Rather than memorizing the steps, I prefer my students gain a deeper understanding of the math or science subject at hand. I went to Northern Arizona University and when not immersed in science and math, geek out by playing board games, video games, and fiddling with computer hardware. I currently live in Sun City, Arizona with my amazing wife.
