I have a passion for History and Travel that has led me to become a professional educator and led my on some great life-changing adventures in Central America, South America, and Europe. I share my enthusiasm for history, travel, and language with my students and try to get them excited about learning a new language. I have over ten years of experience teaching and tutoring students of all levels and believe that my tutoring skills have been effective for my students. There is nothing better than to see a student improve his or her academic performance on a test or in the classroom. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and International Relations, a Master of Arts degree in Latin American Studies, and a Ph.D. in History. I attended St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. I like tutoring in the areas of English as a Second Language, English Language Learners, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, American History, AP United States History, German 1-4, Public Speaking, Spanish 1-4, Social Studies, English, and Social Sciences.
