Experience
I have experience as a classroom teacher, working one-on-one with students, and as a private music teacher. I have taught theater, music, and history in the classroom, and have held private lessons for students learning to play the mandolin and guitar. I have taught a wide variety of students, including those with learning disabilities. I believe that each student is very different, and through my teaching career, I have learned how to adapt my lessons to every individual student. I have always enjoyed teaching, and I take pride in conducting this important job. I love seeing students progress and succeed in their studies. When I was in college, I learned an important lesson. I had always thought that it was best to keep learning internal to tackle difficult subjects. Then, we began studying in groups and teaching each other the material. I learned that everyone learns differently and that it is not always best to learn by yourself. I like tutoring because it is not only rewarding to teach others, but it also helps me be a better student. When I teach a student a specific subject, like History or even Guitar, I find that it also helps me progress in the subject as a student.
