I believe that my students can do anything they set their minds to do. I enjoy to go into detail explaining information so that the student has an intense understanding of what they are learning. I focus on my students 100%, and want to see them succeed in all their educational endeavors. I am positive, and enjoy bringing that attitude to all our tutoring sessions together.I have been working as a tutor for the past two years. I have also volunteered with an organization that assists elementary-age children in getting caught up in their reading. In addition, I have been tutoring students in Writing for a year.I offer tutoring in Algebra 1, Geometry, Elementary and Middle School Math, Precalculus, German, Reading, Writing, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, Arithmetic, Pre-Algebra, Math, English, and test prep for SAT Math, Critical Reading, and Verbal; and PSAT Writing Skills and Critical Reading. I can also help students develop their study skills, and with essay writing and editing.I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, where I earned my degree in Linguistics and Creative Writing.In my spare time, I love to get outside, and enjoy going hiking and mountain biking. I also love to play with my dog, and read and write whenever time permits.
