Hello. My name is Nick. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University. When I started college, I was majoring in Aerospace Engineering. I switched to Mechanical Engineering because I liked the broader aspects of that discipline. I was an intern at several aviation and communication companies before taking a job with Raytheon as a systems engineer. My goal in life is simple - to help others succeed. Few people grasp concepts the first time they are exposed to them. As a tutor, it is my job to help a student understand those concepts that are not immediately clear to them. I can provide tutoring in subjects such as Elementary Math, Middle School Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calculus, Calc 1 - 3, Geometry, Statistics, Trig, Chemistry, and Physics. Other subjects I tutor are Civil and Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Finite Math, and Discrete Math. I can also help a student prepare for the SAT subject tests in Physics, Chemistry, and Math as well as the ACT. I hail from southern California and live in Tucson, Arizona. I like aviation and defense, of course, and I also like to hike, mountain bike, and play with remote control quadcopters.
