I am a published author, an award-winning filmmaker, and a screenwriter. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Humanities from Thomas Edison. I attended Greenwich University, where I received my master's in Communication. I have an additional master's in Creative Writing and Screenwriting, which I received from National University. I also received a Ph.D. in Pastoral Counseling Psychology, which I was given from the University of Sedona. I have previous experience in TV and film writing, sketch writing, and improvisational comedy. I enjoy coaching students in broadcast performance, public speaking, and acting. Helping students find the joy in learning is one of the things I enjoy the most. One of my greatest passions is helping my students use their imaginations to write creatively and experience the joy that follows from doing that. My goal is to help students form connections between what they are passionate about and how those passions can support their dreams and interests. Once you form these connections, students tend to stay more motivated with their learning. In my spare time, I like to volunteer at an animal shelter, where I enjoy working with different animals. I especially enjoy training dogs to become companion and therapy animals. I once received an award (President's Volunteer Service) as a tribute to my work with military families.
